MORE ABOUT DRACULA!

Jonathan Harker, a young notary, goes to Transylvania to negotiate a sale with Count Dracula. It doesn't take him long to discover his host's terrible secret: Dracula is a vampire that goes out at night to quench his thirst for human blood.
When he arrives in England, Dracula chooses as his victim Lucy, who is a friend of Mina, Jonathan's fiancée. Lucy bleeds to death.
Will Jonathan Harker, Mina and the condescending professor Van Helsing manage to defeat the vampire? The novel appears as a dossier of letters and parts of the diaries of each of the different characters.

My ideal home

Here we are in my ideal home. It's a modern house near the Royal Park. It's not very big, but it's got everything. It's got four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. My favourite room is the living room because it has got a big windows and you can see the Royal Park.

MUSIC: Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly Rae Jepsen's first hit, "Call me maybe", was called "the song of summer 2012". It was Number One in her home country Canada, and many other countries such as the UK and the USA. Carly wrote it as a folk song, but then it was made into a pop song. It is on Carly's first album Curiosity, which includes five of her own songs, and one song from the legendary Canadian folk singer Joni Mitchell.

MY SCHOOL

My name's Laia and I'm at Escola Casa Nostra in Banyoles. Casa Nostra is a small school – there are only one hundred students here. It's a school for boys and girls. There are ten or eleven teachers at the school and there aren't a lot of different rooms.
I'm interested in sport and there is a small gymnasium for at PE classes – that's important for me! There is also one excellent PE teacher, Jordi Arteman. But there isn't a swimming pool here at Escola Casa Nostra – we go to the Club Natació Banyoles for swimming classes.
I love science but there isn't a big science laboratory. I love ITC too, but there aren't any modern computers in our ITC room. They're very old!

MY LAST SUMMER!

Hello my name is Laia. I'm 13 and today I'm going to talk about my last summer.

First I'm going to talk about Sevilla, second from Camprodon and finally I'm going to talk about Ametlla de Mar and Salou.

On the 4th of July I went to Sevilla with my friends of rowing and my coaches. We went to celebrate the Spanish Championship of Rowing. We went there by bus and it took 16 hours! We stayed in La Cartuja, in a residence for sportspeople. I rowed with three more girls: Laura, Marina and Marie. Marie is a French girl. She lives in Perpignan and she goes to a Catalan school. We rowed against 16 crews. The competition was very good for us because we were second of Spain!

I like going there because it was a great experience!

On the 20th of July I went to my friend Marina's apartment in Camprodon. In Camprodon we went swimming with Marina's sister, Emma, and visited the town: the square, the bridge and so on. On Sunday we went to the market at the squere. There, we bought a necklace.

I had a really good time!

On the 27th of August I went with my family to Ametlla de Mar and Salou. In Ametlla de Mar we stayed in a hotel with a pool, beach, a fitness center, a game room, a spa and a disco. We also went to visit the town and the harbour where boats were fishing.

Last day we went to Salou, PortAventura.
In the morning it was raining and some rollercoster were closed because of the rain but in the afternoon, the sun shone and we could get on all the rides.

It has been a great Summer holiday!!!
